OK, here's the video, everything you see here happened in LA District 3.
Here's what you will see in the video, in the order it appears:
- Curtis Johnson, the developer in our district supposedly "tripped" in the sand and died. Also, someone shows off the fame/rank emoticon.
- Curtis then makes a conga line leading to the boat
- Everyone is on the boat dancing, and a dozen oink's appear and join in the fun.
- I won't spoil it but, errrm, alot of people die on the boat.
- I get ambushed, chased, cornered, and killed.
- Raining gold!
- Fire works.
- The grand finale, oh the humanity.
I apologize for the lack of transitions between scenes, and the low resolution, but my hosting is limited and I wont be able to keep this online for much longer, so mirrors would be greatly appreciated.

Pffft, it's still fun in the same way watching real fireworks is fun, you might not do anything, but whatching the pretties can be a thrill on it's own.
Besides I doubt it ate into development time too much, the framework for everything except the gnomes 'n fireworks was in game already, with just a few tweaks in size, AI and probably had someone pre-make a script to do it all. (Dev's would be too busy laughing manically to do it all manually )
*Watches some more videos and maybe regrets trying to be sensible and not stay up that late on a sunday*

It was a good thing that I was thinking quick on my feet when the Gnomes first came; none of my friends got any screenshots of them, but I snapped a few. Then when the gold and experience started coming, I was all over those shots; and those worms too, definitely was not expecting that one.
All in all, I went from a measly 15 screenshots to 82 within about 20 minutes

I took over 250 screenshots XD !! Not very good ones, atleast some of them, but i'm gonna try and host all the good ones - (which will take quite awhile to sort through them), and i'll post 'em on other places lol i took the most screens out of everyone online in Ascalon City - District 1, so if u saw me, THAT BETA ENDING ROCKED!!!!! i was the one running around all the time cuz i kept zoning in after every1 else got killed, course i died like 10 times hahaha
yah the only thing you missed, was the killer gnomes in the presents lol... that was sweet, at the end in the place i was in, we all started chanting PvP cuz we wanted to fight 2 the death b4 they shut down the servers !

Ahhh, that was amazing... The Gnomes of Ni were great =)
Last beta when gwen invaded my guild (The Knights of Ni) ran around screaming and yelling 'Ni' at her (to no avail, unfortunately) but it was still alot of fun... Then when the gnomes came out... Oh man, laughed so hard. Thanks for an awesome ending, it was worth the lost sleep.

Oh my gods! I thought we were going to first be killed by the little oink pigs that I saw roaming the sanitarium, THEN I saw the Xmas boxes and the Garden Gnomes that said Nii [Cute and deadly buggers], I was about to freak out, it was still fifteen minutes to go, then the experience went up, and coins fell from the sky! I was just about panicked, lol, you guys had me so nuts it was funny, then... the worms... I hopped from place to place and finally got killed off instantly when I went. I was level thirteen when the XP started going up, barely there, but ended up halfway through level fifteen by the end.
I got tons of screens, I missed the little Garden Gnomes that say Nii I think, I'll check, I love those guys o.o;
Talk about a stress test, so many coins in the sanitarium it wasn't even funny. I'm on T1 and even I had lag. It was so awesome!!!
I wonder if any of these are things they'll have for special occasions such as holidays... special things they can do, aside from killing us o.o;
Those gnomes are evil, and if we have to fight those worms, god help us all... o.o;
Very awesome.
WE LOVE YOU A-NET!
Though I do have to say a friend of mine quit playing yesterday because he finally found out we weren't keeping our chars at their levels they are. Tsk Tsk... I pity him, he missed the best part of the BWE, and the point of having a Beta Event o.o;
I feel bad I missed part of the weekend. I'm happy though I got further than I did last time, a new character, level one, three am til the end, and made it to level 13, with alot of disturbances in the end.
Er ok sorry guys I'm rambling Ill go ramble of my exploits in a more approrpriate place now... >^_^<
Oh yeah, I panicked and was laughing so much I missed a few screens. I got fifteen or twenty or so. I hope I got the Gnomes of Ni, I want to see them agian. Anyone got an upclose of one of them? o.o;

I'm on TV!
I can see my character on the video in Lion's Arch! Hooray!
I'm the Elementalist with the orange trimmed robe and the blue cape who DIDN'T get fried on the boat by the gnomes! Man, it's a small world!
The fireworks were so amazing. It was almost a tear jerker moment... until a giant sand worm devoured the flesh of the person next to me.

I took over 200-300 screenshots, and I compiled them all into a movie. Its the first like movie I ever made, please post comments of what you think.

Good first attemp.
Here's a tip: Get FRAPS for video capture...although screenshots were still fun to watch.

thanks was looking into fraps, but made your gameplay really slow... I have a video capture card in my PC and I can capture my xbox games... maybe I could some how hook my video card up to my pc itself to capture that image lol.

FRAPS isn't supposed to lower your frame rate that much. I've had a problem with the application that used to lower my frames to up to 4 FPS while recording. Try redownloading it from their web site and see how better it gets.
Another thing could be your system. If it's slow and can barely run the game, then logically it will be much worse with FRAPS recording at the same time.

I would personally like to thank all those involved in giving us that awesome ending to the final BWE. It was great! From the second I got off Guild Wars early that morning, I found myself wanting to play it... I can't wait for it to come out! Thanks a lot for that amazing event!
